Collections

One of the newest additions to Please Touch Museum’s permanent collections is the Walking Piano from the 1988 motion picture, Big. In one of the film's most memorable scenes, Tom Hanks and Robert Loggia played "Heart and Soul" in the middle of New York City’s FAO Schwarz toy store.  The Walking Piano was designed by Italian born artist, Remo Saraceni.  Saraceni is the founder of Museum Interactive Technologies, which is a Philadelphia-based company.  The piano was donated to the museum in 2009, by Joseph and Janet Shein.
