Our daily story times are highly interactive and participatory, and are open to kids of all ages and levels of reading comprehension! We read from a broad spectrum of books and authors, and often use props, songs, and movement-based activities to extend the reading experience.
By engaging a child’s active participation in the reading of the story – by asking questions, describing the illustrations, reenacting scenes from the book, etc. – story times become a fun and memorable reading experience. Storytimes are also a great social learning experience for kids, as they participate as a group with other children, and learn to listen, share and play together!
