Visiting Tips:

Please Touch Museum tends to be busier on rainy days. You may want to schedule your visit on fair weather days. Mornings are also a busy time with most school groups visiting during this time. Afternoons are a great time to visit the museum as well as Mondays when groups are not scheduled.

To ensure that your family or group have an enjoyable visit, we suggest you take a few minutes to read our general information.

*Please note that beginning January 1st, 2011, ALL coupons, vouchers and passes from our 21st Street location will not be accepted for admission. No exceptions.

Museum Photography and Video Policy

Please Touch Museum (PTM) routinely takes images and video for use by news media as well as in marketing and promotional materials and on PTM's web and social media platforms. Please be advised that promotional images, video and audio may be captured during your visit to Please Touch Museum. Entrance to the museum constitutes acceptance of this policy. If your likeness cannot be used for Please Touch Museum promotional purposes, please alert the admissions desk staff upon arrival.

Centennial Tours for Grown-Ups

Tour Memorial Hall, the only major structure remaining from Philadelphia's 1876 Centennial Exhibition. Centennial Tours explore history, art, and architecture of Memorial Hall, first home of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the 1876 World's Fair. Visitors will enjoy: restored architecture of Memorial Hall, a behind the scenes tour filled with fun facts from the buildings 20th Century history as a multi-use recreation center, a fully restored 1908 Dentzel Carousel, and much more! Coupons & Discount Admission

 

Families are invited to enjoy the special disounted admission price of $2 per person (ages 1 and older) from 5:00-7:00 p.m. every first Wednesday of the month. Target First Wednesday's are made possible through the generous support of Target.

 

AAA discount gives active card holders 10% off of up to 6 tickets

 

Military discount gives 2 free admission to every active military ID

If you are in possession of Please Touch Museum at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park coupons or vouchers that are valid on the date of your arrival, please present these at our admissions desk for redemption.
